Men's Rights Movement : Social Justice

One primary objective is to recognize many long-standing beliefs. We've already been told countless times, about the woman's legal disadvantages.  However, the social issues vastly outweigh the political agenda. In simpler terms: Previous generations of women received vast privileges, in daily life.. And, this outweighed any political deficiencies. The following short clip only serves as a brief example.  In past generations, women were given the highest graces of chivalry and respect. A man had to prove he was worthy of her acceptance.  (Good for her !)

Although this video was made recently, it offers a glimpse at our history. Please watch how angry this woman becomes, just because another lady decided to flaunt her nice gorgeous body. This is exactly how most women would've reacted in previous generations. Their attitudes were ultra-Victorian. And, this is a good example indicating that men were actually oppressed several decades ago. Essentially, these were the type of stuffy women that men had to marry.

Notice how the female judge gasps, when the model reveals her lingerie.  But, when the attire is removed, she becomes infuriated.   Without question, a man would never react with such furiousity.
And, this attitude carries over into relationships this giving the upper-hand to the woman. In short: they become offended easily. and, because women have such a Victorian mentality, it keeps them in control of the marriage.   By the way, this is not an isolated incident.

Here's another case scenario.   Let's suppose you're dating a girl.   She can touch your body, without having to worry about whether or not she's being disrespectful.  But, at the same time, you must always be careful not to offend.     In fact, it was commonly understood that such double standards were acceptable in a relationship.  For example:   she was allowed to explore the male anatomy, while he might not be permitted to touch her in the same manner.    Or, she was allowed to see his privates,  but, wasn't ready to show.    Still today, a girl might be interested to see her boyfriend's arousal, while prohibiting him from learning her most intimate details.    Or, not until she decides upon it.

Another example is when a woman freely walks in, while her boyfriend's taking a shower.

The following is an actual 1st-hand account written by a man recounting this old standard:
TOM  (from Roanoke, Va)  on August 9th:

"In regard to double standards again between males & females, 2 stories: When i was 15 back in 1965 my parents & my Aunt & Uncle rented a beach house for 3 weeks in Montauk, Long Island. There was also myself & my Brothers & Sisters & a bunch of my cousins. We all got along great. We all respected each others privacy & there was no nude swimming or running around the house nude. One night my 2 twin cousins Karen & Lisa both 18, we're back at the house taking showers as they we're going out with some friends. All the rest of us we're at the beach. Since the house was right near the beach we would walk back to the house whenever we wanted. Well i had to pee real bad so i went back to the house. Since both bathrooms we're occupied i just knocked on the first one, cracked open the door without looking in & said sorry it's me Tommy, I gotta pee real bad! My cousin Lisa was in there. She said no problem, as you could'nt see through the shower curtain. While i was standing there urinating she poked her head out of the curtain, watched me & said "ooh, i see you!" I thought it was funny & i pulled back the shower curtain & said "ooh, i see you too!! She let out a blood curdleing scream, put on her robe & chased me all over the house hitting me! I said what are you so mad for, she said, you have no right to see me naked! I said yeah but you we're looking at my Pecker while i was peeing! She said & I Quote "your a guy, i can do that if i want!!
That's the way things were, back then.  It's a familiar story, shaping the fabric of everyday society.   Another example of common threads beyond the political spectrum.
