Most were created before the year 1908, .....and sold to ordinary people from several countries, by 1910.
There are several different noticeable aspects in each Picture.
1) most importantly, the women are often heavy, and, average looking. Thus, nobody can claim that her status is based solely upon physical beauty. This suggests, that, women of all shapes and sizes obtained a similar status. 2) the man is often kneeling before her. 3) Or, perhaps, he awaits her reply for acceptance. 4) the photos always feature positive & healthy relationships. 5) Besides all else, the female is usually in an elevated position. 6) Men never complain, nor does he request balance in relationships. Rather instead, his goal is to give this level of confidence to her. Or, in simpler terms, he's happy to oblige. 7) Even when the photographs advert images which elevate women, she's still treated as the primary being, amongst two beloved partners. You might say, she's the main character, of utmost concern. 8) building strong relationships seemed to be a top concern, during that era. .........before the negative onslaught of later decades, which our generation is currently experiencing.

There were also many instances when the male would request acceptance from the female. Most shockingly, it was common to depict the lady scolding her partner. Hmmmm, It was considered funny & cute for a woman to yell-at him. She was often given this privilege. And, these photos were taken nearly a century before T.V. sitcoms insisted that it was a "new" occurrence.
